Sunday Scenery
Linda, over at Are We There Yet?, picked up on my Sunday photography posts and kind of turned it into a meme with just two of us participating. So I’ve decided to make it official and invite anyone who cares to join in the fun to put up their own Sunday Scenery. This is a very easy meme to participate in and the idea is pretty straight forward. All you need to do is put up a favorite picture that represents someplace you’ve been, or something you’ve seen and captured with your camera.
The idea for my Sunday posts came from the leisurely drives I used to go on with my grandparents. We were always the ones that other cars would honk at and shake angry fists at as Grandpa puttered along, ten or fifteen miles per hour under the speed limit. But the whole idea was to take the time to see the sites.
Isn’t that what we also do with our cameras? We see something interesting that we would like to capture to look at later or share with friends.
There are no real rules for participation. All you have to post a favorite photograph and come back here on Sunday morning to link your post to mine. I do ask that you post only photographs you can claim the copyright to (in other words, you clicked the shutter). That’s all there is to it! Have fun and be sure to get out there and enjoy the Sunday Scenery!
