Jaffer: That’s what happens when a blog gets neglected like mine has recently. All my hard work to get a loyal following of a dozen or so regulars is falling apart. I need to figure out how to do a better job of being a good citizen of the blogosphere.
Meleah: Actually, that picture was taken on my last trip to the mountains. I just hadn’t shared it yet. I had set it up to post automatically on Sunday morning, but put the wrong date on it. So, it didn’t post until I got back.
Xerraire: Technically, it’s not a real good shot. But ascetically, it works real well.
Linda: The picture was taken on the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. I spent some time along a section of the same parkway this past weekend in Virginia. The views were just as beautiful. It’s a great drive if you ever have the chance.
Kathy: The North Carolina/Virgina mountains are heavenly. For one thing, the temperatures are 10-15 degrees cooler, and the humidity is much lower. Can’t wait to go back.
Elleoz: Thanks for stopping by Tarheel Ramblings. I hope you followed the link to Flickr, there are more pictures from Boone there. I’ll be posting some pictures later today from Meadows of Dan, VA, a little farther north on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Monday afternoon and I am still first to comment. hee hee hee !
What an awesome scenery ! The clouds seem to be falling.
It’s been a couple of years for me (I think) since driving through forests and hills.
