Carolina Skies

Carolina Skies

  • hum, interesting. Well, even though i'm pretty young-i'm not looking for a crazy fast life (like most people my age). I've already realized how fast it goes-no need to speed it up. haha maybe the retirement community will appreciate the slow life... just a thought

  • I havent ever been to NC but i would really love to-this sky seems to re-verify that! I've heard Asheville is really cool, is that true?

Asheville is a beautiful community in the North Carolina mountains. The most prominent attraction in Asheville is the Biltmore Home, a mansion that was George Vanderbilt opened to guests for the first time during Christmas in 1895. It has over 250 rooms and is the largest private residence in the United States. It is still owned privately by the family of George Vanderbilt and is a popular tourist stop. Asheville is also one of the more popular retirement destinations in the country right now.
  • Those are some beautiful Carolina skies you have there, Lee! We have clouds and rain covering Connecticut - again!

You guys have certainly had your share of rain and clouds this summer. Hopefully you'll have some sunny warm weather yet, before the season is over.
  • Lovely skies indeed!
It rained here all weekend and now it's a beautiful sunny day. Why you ask? Because it's Monday of course :p

Why is the weather so often better on Monday after a bad weekend? I think it's just God's way of reminding us who is in charge. :D
  • NC skies are indeed beautiful, but I'd sure like to see some rain clouds in there!

    Let's wash our cars today.

It's funny...I've been in the Midwest all week and it's rained just about every day I've been here. People hear are complaining about what a wet, cool summer it's been. We could definitely use some of this weather in North Carolina. I just want to make sure the sun is shining when I have to fly. Thank you very much. :)
