Photo Scrapbook Blogging

I found Scrapblog online today, and this is the result of playing around. This looks interesting, and I may have some more elaborate posts in the future. Let me know if you think it’s worth the effort.

Thanks, Dawn. I’m working on another “scrapbook” that will be a little more elaborate. I’ll publish it in the next week or so. I’m also working on some photography tip posts using another piece of free software I found. Maybe you and the other three regular readers will find the subject interesting. :D

  • Looks like a nice vacation picture. :) Looks fun and creative.

Susie! It’s nice to see you again. It was a very short vacation, as I was only in Charleston over a weekend to visit my son who is in the Navy. He graduated from the Naval Nuclear Power School, and has moved on to his new assignment at prototype school in New York. I don’t have a good excuse to go back any time soon, but I do want to go back and visit Charleston again. There was a lot I didn’t get to see.

  • Photography tips I can use. Looking forward to it :)

  • I’m back blogging! Can’t wait for the photography tips :O)
    .-= babs – beetle´s last blog ..A thank you, and a rant! =-.

Glad you’re back, Babs. Hope everything is on a more even keel now. The first photography tip is up too. Not sure how wide the interest is, but I did a piece on HDR imaging.

  • I tried the scrapblogging software once. It was fun. But I was at work at the time, and then I forgot about it. I will have to try it again.

Also, you inspired me. Just so you know. A long time ago you did a post about HDR stuff. And although taking multiple pictures with different exposures is still a tad beyond my understanding (I MUST find that manual to my camera), I did find a ‘fake HDR’ script for GIMP and it did amazing stuff to a photo I took at the fair. Take a peek at it if you get the chance and let me know what you think! BTW, I was wearing my Tarheel Ramblings t-shirt while I worked on it, so maybe that is why it worked so well.
