My daughter is doing alright. Her son is trying to fly into Boston from Germany, but his plane was diverted to Memphis yesterday. The airline put him up in a hotel and scheduled a different flight for today. But we’re concerned about the weather. Hopefully, he’ll be landing in Boston soon. Then the challenge is getting from there to Chester, where they live.
wonderful picture Lee..I hope all is well in your world and the weather hasn’t been to much of a trial..Merry Christmas to you and yours if I don’t get back here before the holiday..:)
The weather here has been its typical mild self, Robert. It’s cold (for us) this morning, with the high today only in the 30′s. Not as warm as I would like, but we’ll get through it!
I hope you have a happy and safe holiday filled with love and all good things, Robert. May the Spirit of Christmas fill your redneck heart to overflowing!
I love the bright colors houses and buildings are painted in the Caribbean! It’s whimsical and a refreshing switch from all the beige and white in my neighborhood. Vibrant photo, by the way.
You’re right, Vivienee, the bright colored houses in the Caribbean are a lot of fun. It’s hard to be depressed or unhappy because it always looks so festive. Thanks for visiting and leaving a note.
Thanks, Mimi. It really was a beautiful island, despite the damage from Hurricane Ivan that was still very much in evidence.
I’ll be writing an update post later today on my family. Bottom line is everyone is doing OK after some further adventures over the weekend. On a sad note, my father’s last sibling passed away yesterday, less than a month after their sister died. More in my post later.
Your Sunday Scenery looks so much warmer than mine did! I should have credited you with the title of my post but it completely slipped my mind until I was at work and couldn’t access my blog to amend that (darned IT nazi!). Next time I do that, I shall be sure to mention you!
That’s kind of the whole point behind pictures taken in the Caribbean…to remind us what it’s like to be warm again!
No problem on your post title. I very much doubt that I’m the first one to use that title. In fact, I just did a search, and I’m not the only one to use it.
Hi, Meleah…I think if I put up a picture of an outhouse in Bermuda that would be where you would want to be instead of freezing in New Jersey! Actually, so would I.
Same to you, Dawn. As always, I’m thrilled when you visit. I hope the Christmas Season and the New Year are filled with love, laughter and prosperity for you and yours.
Breathtaking, I love your photos. How is your daughter? Mine may be in labor today! hugs
