Mike: Welcome to Tarheel Ramblings, and thanks for leaving a comment. I appreciate the prayers. I'm going to be doing a lot of that myself for the next six years.

Mitch: No matter how long it took you to visit, thank you for stopping at Tarheel Ramblings and leaving a comment. Aaron is confident in his decision, and I am very proud of him.

I paid a visit to your blog, and I commend you on what you've done there. Powerful examples of how we can reach out to those less fortunate.

Lee, don't know why, but this is my first time here. I like your blog very much. I think your son must be very confident in the choices he has made. We live in a very dangerous world, and the fact that he is willing to do something instead of not, says a lot about you. He will come home safe, and see parts of the world he otherwise would not have. Brave young man. I try to get people to look at what can be done for those less fortunate with my words. Peace

OlgaTTB: Thanks for the prayers. And also, thank you for the award, I am very honored.

jafabrit: Having been there, your support means a lot. Thank you.

The Fearless Blog: You are welcome. My part was raising him and through a lot of anguish and fear actually having him grow up with strong values and a desire to "make a difference."

Travis: I will do that the first chance I have to talk to him. I'm very proud of his willingness to serve.

Meleah: My son is brave. I'm just a parent supporting the decisions his 20 year-old son is making. :D
